BRISBANE: After having their budget cut by the newly appointed state government, embattled Queensland GLBTI health provider Healthy Communities is holding a community meeting to discuss their plans for continuing services and the future of their Resource Centres.

Healthy Communities executive director Paul R. Martin will be in attendance at each meeting along with board members from the organisation, who are interested in hearing feedback and ideas on how to move forward from the drastic funding cuts.

The Healthy Communities Future Plans meetings will be held at the Cairns Resource Centre on August 7, Maroochydore Centre on August 14 and the Brisbane Centre on August 16.
