Code Black returns once more and this very popular leather fetish night continues to go from strength to strength.

This is party number 8 and it's considered to be Australia's only true "Men Only" leather dance party due to the strict dress code.

Its home is The Laird Hotel and the strict dress code enforcer is Mannhaus... Mr Mannhaus. So if you don't have what you need already, pop down there and sort yourself out.

Dolly: So this is the 8th party – what's in store for this one, Mr Mannhaus?

Mannhaus: It's just Mannhaus, Dolly. “Mr Mannhaus” makes us sound like a menswear shop on Are You Being Served?. We have our resident DJ Rob Gilbert (pictured) who's played at every Code Black party we've had. Joining him this time is Scott Anderson and Jayson Leahy so you know the music is gonna be great. We also have spectacular lighting at these events and we use full colour lasers which always look amazing bouncing off the walls of The Laird.

Dolly: I was a bit like a laser the other night at the Laird.

Mannhaus: So I heard. We also have an extended license for the night with full bar service until 5am.

Dolly: Why so strict on the leather policy?

Mannhaus: So people who like leather know exactly what they’re getting. The dress code requires guys to be wearing leather and not other forms of fetish wear. We'll also have a lounge area set aside and a boot shine service.

Dolly: Dry Cleaning?

Mannhaus: You've not done a Code Black party before have you Dolly?

Dolly: No, but you've piqued my interest let me tell you. I'm probably more suited to watching Are You Being Served? – ‘I'm Free!’

CHARGERS BEER BUST

The boys from the Melbourne Chargers Rugby Union Football Club are taking over Sircuit again with a beer bust. The event is open to all and hosted by the truly lovely Bumpa Love. My only concern is how much that diva drinks don't even try to compete with her. You will lose or ‘beer bust’ trying.

You can jump in bed with any one of the boys, which I know has been done many times before, however this time you can have your picture taken. The boys are all about raising funds to get to play in Manchester later in the year but also they are big supporters of community awareness: just look at their sponsors.

It’s $8 entry, but those cheap beer prices mean you'll drink your money back in no time.
