Crusader Hillis is a writer, editor, curator and producer. In 1991, he co-founded (with Rowland Thomson) the queer bookshop Hares & Hyenas. They have since presented over 370 queer literary and performance events in Melbourne and Sydney, including 20 events to celebrate their bookshop’s 20 years for the 2012 Midsumma Festival.
